Current Opportunity

We are seeking a skilled Field Service Engineer to join our team in the Newcastle area, covering the NE/CA postcode area. The ideal candidate will have experience working as a forklift technician, plant fitter, plant technician, vehicle technician, or a similar role, with a strong background in mechanical engineering, electrical engineering, hydraulics, or a related field.

Key Responsibilities
  • Find, diagnose, and rectify faults, and undertake preventative maintenance on Linde forklifts and other material handling equipment at customer sites.
  • Work with a range of equipment, from small pallet trucks to IC trucks, VNA trucks, and automated trucks.
  • Utilize the latest technology to keep accurate records and place orders.
Requirements
  • Experience in mechanical engineering, electrical engineering, hydraulics, or a related field.
  • NVQ level 3 (or equivalent) qualification (not essential).
  • IT literacy and ability to use latest technology.
  • Full UK driving licence.
  • Good communication skills, ability to work independently and as part of a team, and a positive attitude.
