Job Summary

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a full-time post as a Rehabilitation Instructor in Musculoskeletal Physiotherapy Outpatients team within the Huntingdon and Doddington locality. The role involves working alongside the physiotherapy and Specialist service integrated team to enhance patients' rehabilitation, recovery, and outcomes.

Main Responsibilities
  • Provide rehabilitation classes for patients with conditions such as osteoarthritis, spinal pain, and chronic pain management.
  • Develop and implement exercise programs tailored to individual patients' needs.
  • Work collaboratively with the physiotherapy team to provide high-quality therapy services.
  • Conduct mobility assessments and provide appropriate walking aids as required.
  • Coordinate and implement rehabilitation groups, ensuring effective patient engagement and progress.
Requirements
  • Exercise Instructor qualification (Premier Training or YMCA Level 3).
  • Evidence of training in rehabilitation, exercise prescription, or Pilates-based programs.
  • Relevant professional qualification (NVQ/REPs Level 3) or equivalent.
  • Level 3 or above in Sports Rehabilitation, Sports Therapy, Personal Training, or equivalent.
