About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Rehabilitation Instructor to join our Musculoskeletal Physiotherapy Outpatients team. As a key member of our team, you will work alongside physiotherapists and specialist services to enhance patient rehabilitation, recovery, and outcomes.

Key Responsibilities

  • Deliver exercise-based rehabilitation programs for patients with musculoskeletal conditions, including osteoarthritis, spinal pain, and chronic pain management.
  • Lead rehabilitation classes and pain management groups, promoting self-management of patients' conditions.
  • Develop and implement exercise prescription, advice, and education strategies to improve patient performance and outcomes.
  • Work independently with a caseload of patients, performing re-assessments, and providing high-quality therapy services.

Requirements

  • Exercise Instructor qualification (e.g., Premier Training or YMCA Level 3).
  • Evidence of training in rehabilitation, exercise prescription, or Pilates-based programs.
  • Relevant professional qualification (e.g., NVQ/REPs Level 3) or degree in a related field.
  • Previous experience in rehabilitation or gym instruction, delivering exercise-based programs on an individual and/or class-based level.
