About Our Service
We provide support to individuals with varying levels of need, from hourly support to 24-hour care. Our service is based in a small cul-de-sac, where we support ten people across six flats. We offer personalized support plans, which are tailored to each individual's needs and preferences.
What We're Looking For
We're seeking a Relief Support Worker to join our team. As a Relief Support Worker, you will provide support to individuals with their daily living needs, including personal care, medication management, and household tasks. You will also be responsible for providing person-centered support, which involves getting to know the individuals you support and understanding their needs and preferences.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide personal care, including support with morning and evening routines, showering, bathing, and using the bathroom.
- Support individuals with their personal safety, including carrying out checks in line with their individualized support plans.
- Provide person-centered support, which involves getting to know the individuals you support and understanding their needs and preferences.
- Excellent communication and record-keeping skills are essential for this role, as you will be required to maintain accurate records of support provided and communicate effectively with colleagues and individuals you support.
