Senior IT Infrastructure Specialist Job Description:

We are seeking a highly experienced Senior IT Infrastructure Specialist to join our team at BAE Systems. As a key member of our Systems and Test Solutions Hardware team, you will be responsible for designing and implementing complex computing and test systems.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Designing and building server racks and cabinets
  • Assessing electrical safety and product security
  • Producing hardware general assembly drawings and electrical drawings using industry standard drawing toolsets

Requirements:

  • Degree in Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics (STEM) subject or equivalent relevant experience
  • Experience in mechanical and electrical design, testing, and electrical safety assessment
  • Familiarity with CAD packages such as Microsoft Visio
