As an Equipment Design Optimisation Expert, you will be responsible for ensuring that our submarine designs meet the required specifications and performance standards.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement optimised designs for submarine equipment and systems.
  • Collaborate with system design engineers to ensure designs meet performance requirements.
  • Provide input to weight saving strategies and maintain lists of weight risk and opportunities.

Requirements

  • Qualified in a relevant engineering discipline or equivalent experience.
  • CEng/IEng status or a clear pathway to achieving professional recognition.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
