Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Higher Level Teaching Assistant to join our team at Long-term Teachers Ltd. As a Higher Level Teaching Assistant, you will play a vital role in supporting teachers in the classroom, working with children with special educational needs, and contributing to the development of a positive and inclusive learning environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Supporting Teachers in the Classroom
  • Working with Children with Special Educational Needs
  • Managing Classroom Resources
  • Assisting with Therapy Sessions
  • Participating in Team Meetings and Planning

Requirements

  • Experience working with children with special educational needs
  • Relevant qualifications and training
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work effectively in a team
  • Confidence in managing challenging behaviors

Working Arrangements

This is a full-time position, working Monday to Friday, 8:30am - 4pm, term time only. The successful candidate will be required to work as part of a team to support the delivery of high-quality education to students with special educational needs.
