**Job Summary**

Oracle is seeking a highly skilled Senior Cybersecurity Engineer to join our team. As a key member of our security operations team, you will be responsible for designing, building, and implementing security solutions to protect our organization's assets.

**Key Responsibilities**

  • Design and implement SIEM detections, threat hunting, and automation using Python scripting and SOAR tools.
  • Participate in incident management teams, responding to security events in line with Oracle's incident response playbooks.
  • Investigate purported intrusions and breaches, and oversee root cause analysis.
  • Coordinate incidents with other business units and act as incident commander for serious incidents.
  • Evaluate existing and proposed technical architectures for security risk, and provide technical advice to support the design and development of secure architectures.
  • Recommend security controls to mitigate risks, and evaluate internal security architecture.
  • Work with senior management to develop and implement a multi-year security roadmap.
  • Focus on operational and strategic level tasks, and provide counsel and guidance to junior level security operations engineers.

**Requirements**

  • Advanced-level skills in researching, evaluating, tracking, and managing information security threats and vulnerabilities.
  • Strong understanding of current threat landscape, data ingest, and telemetry requirements.
  • Experience with SIEM platforms such as Splunk, Azure Sentinel, Qradar, Exabeam, etc.
  • Python scripting skills.
  • Knowledge of MITRE Caldera and ATT&CK.
  • Experience with Atomic Red Team.
  • SOAR automation and enrichment skills.
  • Strong work ethic and positive can-do attitude.
  • Bias for action and execution of tasks.
  • Willingness to grow skillset.

**Clearance Requirements**

This role requires UK national security clearance.
