Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Mechanical Engineer for Operational Excellence to join our RME team at ENGINEERINGUK. In this role, you will be responsible for improving the operational performance of our equipment, ensuring maximum efficiency and minimal downtime.

About the Role

This is an exciting opportunity to work in a dynamic environment where you will be responsible for:

  • Improving the design and operation of our equipment to reduce maintenance needs
  • Developing and implementing condition-based monitoring systems to predict maintenance needs
  • Collaborating with cross-functional teams to identify and implement process improvements
  • Providing technical guidance and support to junior engineers and technicians
  • Upholding all health and safety policies and practices
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A served full engineering indentured apprenticeship and/or qualified to a minimum of NVQ level 3 or equivalent in a relevant engineering subject
  • Relevant experience as a qualified engineer with experience in mechanical maintenance
  • Relevant experience working in condition-based monitoring and predictive maintenance
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
