Role Summary

An exciting career opportunity has arisen for a Mechanical Trades Specialist to join our team at Belcan's Fife site.

This is a 12-month contract opportunity for a full-time on-site work within an IR35 framework.

Main Tasks
  • Partner with the First Line Supervisor to actively develop and build safety capacity through the Personal Safety Management System (Tools), once trained.
  • Demonstrate high resilience, ownership, and innovation in solving mechanical maintenance problems.
  • Collaborate with the site operations team to safely and efficiently execute planned maintenance tasks on site.
  • Work with site planning and supervision to ensure the safest and most efficient preventative maintenance and defect repairs are carried out to mechanical equipment.

Requirements:

  • Discipline-appropriate certification(s) if applicable or equivalent professional experience.
  • Strong communication skills.
  • Team Player; exhibits effective teamwork when working with persons over whom the person may have no direct authority.
  • Ability to adapt to tight deadlines, heavy workloads, and frequent changes in priorities.

Estimated Salary: $120,000 - $180,000 per annum
