About the Role:

PFAS is seeking a qualified healthcare professional to work as a Functional Assessor, assessing the cases of people applying for the Personal Independence Payment (PIP) benefit.

Your Key Responsibilities:

  • Analyse information critically to create accurate and concise reports.
  • Provide positive experiences for claimants and colleagues, meeting quality and productivity targets.

Requirements:

To succeed in this role, you will need a minimum of 1 year of clinical experience as a qualified healthcare professional, broad clinical knowledge, and the ability to use computer software including Microsoft Office.

Essentials Qualifications:

  • Nurses: Qualified Nurse (RGN, RMN, RNLD only), Member of the Royal College of Nursing (RCN).
  • Physios/OTs: Qualified Chartered Physiotherapist or Qualified Occupational Therapist, Member of the UK Health & Care Professions Council (HCPC), Member of the Chartered Society of Physiotherapy (MCSP) or College of OT's (COT).
  • Paramedics: BSc or Qualified Paramedic, Member of the UK Health & Care Professions Council (HCPC).
