Job Title: Disability Assessor Specialist

About the Role:
You will work autonomously to assess cases of people applying for Personal Independence Payment (PIP) benefit as part of the Department for Work and Pensions' Health Assessment and Advisory Services (HAAS). An in-depth training program is provided, ensuring you're fully equipped for your new role. You'll earn over 100 hours of CPD points within your first three months.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Use your clinical experience to work with people who have a diverse range of health conditions, gaining a clear understanding of how their challenges affect their daily life.
  2. Complete approximately 45-minute assessments over the telephone, video, or face-to-face in an office-style environment and at home.
  3. Interpret medical evidence and gather findings into a comprehensive report to support decision-making by the DWP.
