S Guest Consultancy Services Ltd is seeking a highly skilled Senior Estimator to join their team. As a Senior Estimator, you will play a crucial role in assisting the company in completing construction projects by providing accurate cost estimates.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist in completing construction projects by providing cost estimates, ensuring that all estimates are accurate and comprehensive.
  • Liaise and follow up with subcontractors to ensure that bids are received in a timely manner, while also working with project management teams to follow up on bids and budgets to close the business.
  • Prepare or coordinate full estimates on complex and large projects as required by client or customer documents.
  • Review construction documents and understand the scope of work to bid, obtaining bids from subcontractors, obtaining best prices for materials, and ensuring correctness and accuracy by reviewing estimates.
  • Prepare detailed analytical tenders, maintain a library of pricing and outputs data, and assist with the management of production, and negotiate estimates and tenders.

Requirements:

To be successful in this role, you will need to have a strong main contractor construction background, with experience managing projects from 1st principles and estimating projects from £5million to £50million across a multitude of sectors.
