Job Title: Advanced Nurse Practitioner

We are seeking an experienced Advanced Nurse Practitioner to join our team in a reputable rehabilitation service based in Woking, Surrey. As a key member of our multidisciplinary team, you will work closely with colleagues to provide high-quality care to service users.

Job Summary:

The successful candidate will be responsible for undertaking initial assessments, leading learning activities, and participating in clinical governance activities. You will also work effectively with colleagues to ensure service users have access to appropriate clinical cover at all times.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Undertake initial assessments for service users admitted to the hospital to determine the appropriate level of care to be provided.
  • Lead learning activities and participate in clinical supervision.
  • Participate in Clinical Governance activities and account for contracted hours utilised in research, clinical audit, and Continuing Professional Development.
  • Work effectively with colleagues to ensure service users have access to appropriate clinical cover at all times.
  • Support the service in delivering physical health care and potentially emergency treatment to service users.
  • Share responsibility for providing phlebotomy services with other members of the clinical team as required.
  • Undertake the risk assessment and adjustment of service user observation levels in conjunction with colleagues from the wider MDT.
Requirements:
  • Registered Non-Medical Prescriber.
  • Desirable to have completed an Advanced Nurse/Clinical Practitioner Training Course or a Clinical Skills development course.
