Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated Disability Benefits Support Officer to join our team at Vox Network Consultants. As a key member of our Income Maximisation Service, you will play a crucial role in supporting residents with disabilities to access the benefits they deserve.

The successful candidate will have excellent communication and organisational skills, with experience of working with vulnerable individuals and groups. You will be able to work effectively in a pressurised environment, managing conflicting priorities and deadlines while maintaining high standards of customer service.

This is an exciting opportunity for someone who is passionate about making a difference in their community and wants to contribute to the development of a holistic and effective service that promotes financial inclusion and wellbeing.

Key responsibilities include:

  • To apply the relevant Income Maximisation policy and procedures to support residents with disabilities to access benefits
  • To work collaboratively across the Benefits and Housing Needs Service to promote an effective and efficient service to residents
  • To offer support and advice to customers, signposting them to relevant partners and services

Estimated Salary: £25,000 - £30,000 per annum

This role requires a strong understanding of the social care and benefits landscape, as well as excellent interpersonal and problem-solving skills.
