Sanctuary Personnel Ltd seeks a compassionate Wellbeing Advocate to join their Haringey Adult Learning Disability Team. This permanent, full-time position provides an opportunity to empower residents with disabilities to achieve their goals and improve their overall wellbeing.

As a Wellbeing Advocate, you will work closely with clients, families, and communities to develop and implement personalized support plans that promote independence and wellbeing. Your strengths-based approach will focus on identifying and addressing the unique needs of each individual.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Hold a caseload to support residents in achieving independence and optimal wellbeing by collaborating with partners and community resources.
  • Conduct thorough assessments, reviews, and support planning to promote quality of life and independence.
  • Provide guidance, advice, and practical support on assistive technology, benefit maximization, and employment opportunities.
  • Coordinate short-term care and respite services to prevent carer breakdown.
  • Work collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams, including healthcare professionals, social workers, and caregivers, to inform assessment and support planning.
  • Participate in safeguarding personal decisions and contribute to risk assessments and protection plans.

Requirements:

  • Holds a Social Work Qualification or equivalent and possesses relevant Social Work experience.
  • Demonstrates commitment to Sanctuary values of Equality, Diversity, and Inclusion (EDI) and completes training and compliance courses.
  • Able to make reasonable adjustments during recruitment and in the workplace as needed.

We offer a competitive salary range of £35,000 - £42,000 per annum, dependent on experience, and a comprehensive benefits package, including pension scheme, life assurance, and professional development opportunities.
