We Manage Jobs (WMJobs) invites applications for a Student Wellbeing Advocate to join our dedicated team. This role focuses on supporting the pastoral care of our students and working closely with our pastoral team, Senior Leaders, Heads of Year.

The successful candidate will possess relevant experience in student wellbeing or a related field, such as education or youth work. Key responsibilities include:
  • Providing administrative support to the pastoral team, including writing reports and referrals.
  • Maintaining accurate records in line with data protection and GDPR guidelines.
  • Supporting the implementation of effective safeguarding procedures.
  • Establishing and maintaining positive relationships with pupils, parents, and carers.
  • Challenging difficult behaviour in a professional manner.
  • Demonstrating an understanding of social issues affecting children and showing flexibility in supporting families.
  • Awareness of legislation related to school attendance and child safeguarding.
  • A willingness to undertake further training to support the safeguarding team.
This is a term-time only role with working hours from 8:30am to 4:00pm, Monday to Friday. The estimated annual salary for this position is £21,348.
