**Child Development Advocate:
We are seeking a passionate CHILD DEVELOPMENT ADVOCATE to join our team at Warrington Borough Council. As a key member of our Early Help services, you will play a vital role in supporting children and young people with additional needs.
The successful candidate will have excellent communication skills, the ability to work effectively with families, and a strong understanding of the challenges faced by children with disabilities.
About the Role:
This is a fixed-term position until 31 March 2026, and we are looking for someone who can commit to this duration.
As a Child Development Advocate, you will be responsible for supporting children and young people with additional needs, working closely with families to achieve the best outcomes for their children.
You will also have the opportunity to develop your skills and knowledge through ongoing training and professional development.
Requirements:
- Degree in Social Work or related field
- Experience working with children with additional needs
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
What We Offer:
- Competitive salary: £25,000 - £30,000 per annum
- 26 days annual holiday (rising to 31 days after 5 years of service)
