The Opportunity:
We are seeking an experienced Underwriting Administrator to join our team at Carbon Underwriting. This is a data lead role where you will play a key part in the growth and development of our underwriting team.
Your key responsibilities will include:
- Attending and organising key client meetings, including responsibility for agenda circulation, minutes and preparatory analysis.
- Inputting and monitoring workflows and ensuring tasks are completed by the underwriting team members.
- Assisting underwriters with the production of management information, including statistical analysis and production of reports for monthly management meetings, product oversight groups and other committees as necessary.
- To take on the responsibility of operating and monitoring premium income.
- Maintain a high level of professionalism and prompt service when dealing with key stakeholders, including coverholders and brokers
Your Skills and Experience:
- Prior relevant work experience and understanding of the insurance industry required
- Casualty or delegated authority experience is a nice to have but not necessary
- Keen interest and curiosity of data;
- Expert knowledge of MS Excel, ability to design complex formulae and pivot tables
- Strong administration and data entry skills.
