About the Role

This is a challenging opportunity to join our dynamic team of Electronics and Software Engineers in developing and expanding our range of embedded computer and digital video products.

As a Senior Hardware Design Engineer, you will be responsible for designing new products from feasibility to production, with a focus on high-speed digital design.

The ideal candidate will have experience with schematic design using Cadence/Orcad/Altium, PCB layout reviews, and preparing design documentation.

You will also work closely with the sales team to define solutions in response to customer requirements.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Hardware design of new products
  • Schematic design using Cadence/Orcad/Altium
  • PCB layout reviews
  • Preparing design documentation
  • Supporting the product development life cycle
  • Working with sales team to define solutions

Requirements:

  • 5+ Years experience with high speed digital design
  • Programming in C/C++
  • Familiarity with video interfaces: HDMI/DVI, HD-SDI, DP, VGA, Composite
  • Experience with following interfaces: PCIe, USB, Ethernet, SPI, I2C, RS-232/RS-485/RS-422
  • Mutilayer highspeed PCB design with Cadence/Orcad/Altium

What We Offer:

A competitive salary of £60,000 - £80,000 per annum, depending on experience.
