Ely, Cambridgeshire, United Kingdom ARM Full time

As a highly skilled Senior SoC Verification Engineer at Arm, you will play a crucial role in creating sophisticated subsystems and SoC designs for various application segments. We are seeking creative and enthusiastic engineers to join our team, focusing on verifying and testing complex IP products such as CPU/GPU/DSP processors with memory controllers and interconnect fabrics.

You will ensure that these products work effectively together and with software, enabling our partners to develop outstanding systems. Key responsibilities include:

  • Writing test plans, defining test methodologies, and completing functional verification to required quality levels and schedules
  • Collaborating with project management and leads on planning tasks, setting schedules, and quality checkpoints
  • Working with engineers from other teams, including architecture, design, implementation, modeling, performance analysis, silicon validation, FPGA, and board development

To succeed in this role, you should have experience working with embedded C/C++ based SoC verification environments, knowledge of assembly language (preferably ARM), and hardware verification languages like SystemVerilog. Additionally, you should be familiar with shell programming/scripting languages (e.g., Tcl, Perl, Python) and have exposure to all stages of verification, from requirements collection to documentation and support.

We offer a competitive salary range of £80,000 - £110,000 per annum, depending on experience, as well as a contributory pension scheme and 25 days annual leave (with the option to buy an additional 5 days per year).
