Procurement Assistant
Job Summary: We are seeking a skilled Procurement Assistant to join our Commercial Diagnostic team. As a key member of the category team, you will play a vital role in managing procurement processes and ensuring they are aligned with identified KPIs.
Key Responsibilities:
- Support the delivery of the end-to-end procurement process for our customers/stakeholders, ensuring a high level of customer service is maintained.
- Explore and develop a strong understanding of external developments or emerging issues, evaluating their potential impact on the organization.
- Gather and report on information on existing contract performance, providing input to the new contract process.
- Carry out simple contract management tasks, conducting research using primary data sources and selecting information needed for analysis.
- Prepare moderately complex documents and gather data for reports, ensuring accurate and timely information is provided.
- Extract relevant data from information provided by others and input it into spreadsheets or standard formats.
- Develop working knowledge of the organization's policies and procedures, adhering to mandatory procedures to ensure work is undertaken to the required standards.
- Support stakeholder engagement by arranging actions, meetings, and events.
- Collect and collate information on key cost drivers, market dynamics, and issues, providing solid market information for decision-making.
