Procurement Assistant

Job Summary: We are seeking a skilled Procurement Assistant to join our Commercial Diagnostic team. As a key member of the category team, you will play a vital role in managing procurement processes and ensuring they are aligned with identified KPIs.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Support the delivery of the end-to-end procurement process for our customers/stakeholders, ensuring a high level of customer service is maintained.
  2. Explore and develop a strong understanding of external developments or emerging issues, evaluating their potential impact on the organization.
  3. Gather and report on information on existing contract performance, providing input to the new contract process.
  4. Carry out simple contract management tasks, conducting research using primary data sources and selecting information needed for analysis.
  5. Prepare moderately complex documents and gather data for reports, ensuring accurate and timely information is provided.
  6. Extract relevant data from information provided by others and input it into spreadsheets or standard formats.
  7. Develop working knowledge of the organization's policies and procedures, adhering to mandatory procedures to ensure work is undertaken to the required standards.
  8. Support stakeholder engagement by arranging actions, meetings, and events.
  9. Collect and collate information on key cost drivers, market dynamics, and issues, providing solid market information for decision-making.
