Procurement Administrator Job Description

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Procurement Administrator to join our team at Rhodar Specialist Enabling Works. As a key member of our procurement team, you will be responsible for providing administrative support to our central procurement team, ensuring the smooth operation of our purchasing activities.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide administrative support to the procurement team, including scheduling meetings, preparing reports, and maintaining procurement databases.
  • Support internal stakeholders and business units with their management and tracking of company-owned plant and equipment.
  • Monitor maintenance reporting and costs, and ensure all transactions relevant to purchasing are managed and processed promptly and accurately.
  • Set up new vendors as required, manage questionnaires and compliance actions, and ensure the vendor database is accurate.
  • Complete annual vendor checks and assessments for updated insurance, accreditations, and financial documents and statements.
  • Prepare a suite of monthly reports around vendor performance as requested by the procurement team and stakeholders.
Requirements:
  • Experience within a similar purchasing role is desirable.
  • Excellent and demonstrated planning and organization skills.
  • Commercial awareness and understanding of business-critical pathways.
  • IT literate (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, RedSky).
  • Experienced with internal systems and databases.
