Procurement Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled Procurement Administrator to join our team at Rhodar Ltd, a leading specialist enabling works provider. As a key member of our procurement team, you will play a crucial role in supporting the central procurement team and regional stores/offices in the procurement and management of materials, goods, and equipment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide administrative support to the central procurement team, including scheduling meetings, preparing reports, and maintaining procurement databases.
- Support regional stores/offices in the procurement and management of materials, goods, and equipment, with a focus on plant & equipment hire.
- Develop and implement effective procurement strategies to ensure the timely and cost-effective acquisition of goods and services.
- Manage supplier relationships, including vendor vetting and approval, and the development of our supply chain.
- Investigate and resolve purchase invoice queries, credits, goods receipts, and goods return notes, as well as dispute resolution.
- Prepare and present reports on vendor performance, including KPIs and other relevant metrics.
About You
- Experience in a similar purchasing role is desirable.
- Excellent planning and organization skills, with the ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
- Strong communication and negotiation skills, with the ability to work effectively with internal and external stakeholders.
- Commercial awareness and understanding of business-critical pathways.
- IT literacy, with proficiency in Microsoft Office and other relevant software.
