**Job Description:**

We are seeking a highly skilled Horticultural Team Member to join our team at Lympne Castle. The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining and upkeeping our historic castle's gardens and grounds (139 acres).

**Responsibilities:**

  • Maintenance and care of lawns, flowerbeds, trees, shrubs, driveway, parking lot, and produce garden(s)
  • Implementing landscaping projects, including installation of new features such as fountains or pathways
  • Maintaining a comprehensive plant inventory and conducting appropriate maintenance and pest control measures
  • Maintenance and upkeep of water features, such as fountains, ponds, and streams
  • Pest control measures and management of any encroachment of pests
  • Waste management for the castle grounds

**Salary:** £28,000 - £32,000 per annum

**Requirements:**
We require a Level 2 RHS qualified individual with strong horticultural knowledge and skills, along with good knowledge of health and safety regulations related to garden and grounds maintenance.
