Lymne Castle is undergoing a period of refurbishment before expanding operations, and we seek to recruit valuable staff to join us for our exciting launch. As a Historic Garden Steward, you will play a crucial role in helping us achieve our goals.

You will be responsible for assisting with the maintenance and care of the castle's gardens and grounds (139 acres), including lawns, flowerbeds, trees, shrubs, driveway, parking lot and produce garden(s). You will also help implement landscaping projects, including the installation of new features, such as fountains or pathways.

To be successful in this role, you will need to have strong horticultural knowledge and skills, with a good understanding of plant identification, growth, and maintenance. You will also need to have good communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to liaise within the team and with other departments and external contractors as needed.

Salary: £28,000 - £35,000 per year.
