Empowering Students with SEMH Needs
As a Mental Health Support Worker with GSL Education, you will play a vital role in empowering students with Social, Emotional, and Mental Health (SEMH) challenges. In this role, you will work closely with teachers and other professionals to create a nurturing and structured learning environment. You will provide one-on-one and small group support to students, implementing strategies and interventions that promote social and emotional development.

Essential Responsibilities
• Provide tailored support to students with SEMH needs, helping them to develop essential life skills and confidence.
• Collaborate with teachers and other professionals to create a positive and inclusive learning environment.
• Develop and implement effective behaviour support plans, ensuring that students receive the support they need to succeed.
• Work closely with parents and carers to ensure seamless communication and collaboration.
• Maintain accurate records and reports, highlighting areas of strength and challenge for each student.
