Job Title: Senior Environmental Specialist

We are seeking an experienced Senior Environmental Specialist to join our team in Exeter. As a key member of our ecology team, you will play a critical role in delivering high-quality work and assessments for a range of clients and projects.

The ideal candidate will have at least 4-5 years of experience in environmental consultancy, with a proven track record of project management, including medium to large-scale sites. You will be responsible for managing projects throughout their lifecycle, providing advice on ecology and biodiversity to clients, stakeholders, and project teams.

You will also be expected to plan, lead, and conduct environmental surveys and assessments, undertake environmental impact assessments, and prepare a range of environmental reports and strategies. Additionally, you will build and maintain strong client relationships, as well as with contractors and regulatory bodies.

In this role, you will have the opportunity to work on complex and rewarding projects, collaborating with our talented team of ecologists, landscape architects, and environmental planners. Key Responsibilities:

Requirements:
  • Degree in a relevant field.
  • At least 4-5 years of experience in environmental consultancy.
  • Proven track record of project management.
  • Advanced knowledge of ecology and wildlife protection.
  • Competency in Microsoft Office software.
  • Membership or eligibility to membership of a relevant professional body.
