About the Position

Pell Frischmann Group Ltd. is a renowned environmental consultancy firm, and we are seeking an accomplished UK Environmental Consultant to lead our team in Exeter. This role offers an exceptional opportunity to work on various environmental permitting projects, utilizing your expertise in environmental consultancy and regulation.

The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 10 years of experience in environmental permitting, with a comprehensive understanding of the UK's environmental regulations and regimes. You will be responsible for preparing Environmental Permit applications, advising on Environmental Management Systems, and providing ongoing compliance support to clients.

We offer a highly competitive salary of £80,000 - £100,000 per annum, depending on experience, along with excellent benefits, including a full UK driver's licence required for this role.

Main Objectives

  • Preparing Environmental Permit applications for activities and discharges to water, land, and air
  • Advising on and auditing Environmental Management Systems
  • Producing technical and interpretive reports
  • Undertaking Environmental audits
  • Providing ongoing/specialist compliance support to clients
  • Leading technical and other work whilst ensuring high levels of quality and environmental responsibility
  • Coordinating technical input from across Pell Frischmann and our partner companies
