Environmental Observations Leadership Role

As a Senior Leader in Environmental Observations, you will play a crucial part in shaping our strategy to align transformational change in the Services Directorate. Your expertise in national and international leadership in the field of observations and related policy will help us navigate European Programmes and representation at international bodies like the World Meteorological Organisation.

You will be accountable for the management, operations, and continuous improvement of our observation capabilities, including leadership of the observations project sub-portfolio and the long-term observations business plan. This role requires a strong understanding of technology and data, as well as exceptional leadership skills.

Your total reward package will include a salary of up to £103,000 annually, with a base pay of £72,500 and an outstanding Civil Service pension. You will also have access to a discretionary performance-related bonus and eligible to participate in an Associate Director bonus scheme.
