We're looking for an Observations R&D Industrial Placement to help make a difference to our planet. This is an exciting opportunity to join the Met Office on a 12-month Year in Industry placement, developing your skills and knowledge and ensuring you gain the most value possible from your experience with us.

Job Description
  • You will support the delivery or application of scientific research to enhance the Met Office's capability, impact, or quality of its predictions, products, or advice.
  • More specifically, this post contributes to the Advancing Observations strategic theme through investigation and analysis of 3rd party and opportunistic sources of observations.

You'll be working on projects that really matter and will make a difference. We're a force for good - focusing on our environmental and social impact.
