Job OverviewThis is an exciting opportunity for a skilled Child Development Specialist to join our team as a Diagnostic Expert. The role will involve conducting comprehensive assessments for children referred for autism and/or ADHD diagnoses via NHS Patient Choice and GP referrals.
Key Responsibilities:- Conduct diagnostic assessments using established tools such as DSM-5 criteria and ADOS-2/ADI-R;
- Develop and implement assessment reports in a timely and professional manner;
- Provide recommendations and interventions for clients with neurodevelopmental disorders or mental health difficulties;
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to deliver high-quality care;
- Suitable candidates must be able to travel to one of our locations in Harrogate, Huddersfield, Exeter, or Norwich (hybrid roles).
- HCPC registered Speech and Language Therapist;
- Eligibility to work in the UK;
- Experience in conducting diagnostic assessments with children and young people;
- Knowledge of differential diagnosis and relevant assessment tools;
- Ideal candidate will have training in ADOS-2/ADI-R.
We offer a highly competitive salary range of £35,000 - £85,000 per annum (dependent on experience) and excellent benefits for the right candidate.
