Job Title: Experienced Child and Family Specialist

We are seeking experienced child and family specialists to support our children and young people in Devon. This is a fantastic opportunity to build meaningful relationships with families; however, the Local Authority is working under an Ofsted Improvement Plan.

About Our Assessment Team

To support the children and families teams, we have added Specialist Practitioners to assist with specialist assessments such as section 47 enquiries and Child and Family Assessments.

Our team carries out investigations to decide whether a child requires support or protection.

Your Responsibilities
  • You will commit to being available in Devon every other week for a full week to support duty.
  • You will be available to travel to Devon the alternate week to work directly with families and attend emergencies on your cases.
Salary and Benefits

Paying £44 per hour + £150 weekly accommodation allowance for those living over 50 miles from the office.
