As a Junior Meteorology Specialist, you will be part of the Observations Operations team, supporting the delivery of weather observations from various networks and systems.

Responsibilities and Opportunities
  • Assist in monitoring the performance of operational observing systems;
  • Participate in investigating issues and carrying out root cause analysis;
  • Collaborate with Network Specialists to ensure the effective running of the networks;
  • Contribute to tasks and projects that implement changes to our observing networks;
  • Present regular progress reports to colleagues, both verbally and in writing.

The estimated salary for this position is £26,000 per annum, considering the UK location and industry standards.
