We are seeking a skilled Weekend Cook to join our team at St Josephs Approved Premises in Eccles, Manchester. As a Weekend Cook, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality meals to our residents while ensuring a safe and healthy food environment.
Key Responsibilities- Plan, prepare, and cook meals for residents, adhering to recipes and volume cooking requirements.
- Ensure kitchen equipment, work surfaces, and storage areas are cleaned and maintained to the highest standards.
- Manage food waste, control portion sizes, and maintain accurate records.
- Monitor and maintain a safe and healthy food environment, adhering to health and safety protocols.
- Report any accidents, near misses, or damage to the Catering Supervisor.
- Ensure the Catering Department is secure and properly closed when not in use.
