We are seeking enthusiastic and motivated team players to join our bank in Dumfries and Galloway.

As a Healthcare Support Worker, you will work within the Nursing and multidisciplinary professional teams to ensure a high standard of care.

A bank worker contract allows you to undertake shifts across NHS Dumfries and Galloway on an as and when required basis. Locations include acute hospitals, community hospitals, and community settings.

The nurse/HCSW bank centrally co-ordinates bank shifts for Acute and Community nursing services across NHS Dumfries and Galloway through an electronic booking system.

Bank workers must deliver a high standard of patient-centred care; be kind, caring, professional, flexible, and reliable.

To be a suitable candidate for the Nurse HCSW Bank, you should possess these qualities.

NHS Scotland is reducing their full-time working week from 37.5 to 37 hours per week for NHS Agenda for Change workers in Scotland from 1 April 2024, but with no change in pay.

This reduction will also be applied pro rata for part-time staff. This advert and any subsequent offer/contract of employment therefore reflects the new working hours.
