Salary

The salary for this role is estimated to be around £25,000 per annum, based on the UK average salary range for Band 2 Healthcare Support Workers. This amount may vary depending on individual circumstances.

Job Description

We are seeking an experienced and skilled Healthcare Support Worker to join our Relief Team at Dumfries and Galloway Royal Infirmary. The successful candidate will have the opportunity to work in various areas of the hospital, gaining valuable experience and developing their skills in a fast-paced environment.

As a member of our Relief Team, you will be required to work flexible hours, including day shifts, evening shifts, and weekends. You will also be expected to participate in training opportunities to enhance your skills and knowledge.

Required Skills and Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you will need to possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills, as well as the ability to work effectively in a team. A minimum of Level 2 qualifications in English and maths is required, and previous experience in a healthcare setting is highly desirable.
