Salary and Benefits

As a Care Assistant with Guardian Homecare, you'll earn £12 per hour on weekdays and £12.50 per hour on weekends, plus mileage reimbursement. You'll also enjoy a range of benefits, including enhanced occupational maternity and adoption pay, paid training and shadowing, uniform and PPE provided, death in service payment, pension scheme, benefits and wellbeing platform, 28 days annual leave (pro rata), refer a friend scheme, cycle to work scheme, and eligibility for Blue Light Card discounts.

About the Role

We're seeking compassionate and caring individuals to join our team as Care Assistants. As a Care Assistant, you'll work closely with our clients to provide personal care, assist with medication, and support with daily living tasks. You'll also help with practical tasks such as shopping and housework. No prior experience is necessary, but you'll need to be resilient, willing to learn new skills, and develop your knowledge as part of a close-knit team.

To succeed as a Care Assistant, you'll need excellent communication and interpersonal skills, a kind and caring approach, and the ability to work flexibly. You'll also need to be comfortable working in a fast-paced environment and be able to prioritize tasks effectively.
