Lead Social Care Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Lead Social Care Specialist to join our team. This is an exciting opportunity to drive forward continual improvement and evaluate the effectiveness of safeguarding arrangements for children and adults.
As a Lead Social Care Specialist, you will provide challenge and support to practitioners, managers, and elected members to ensure high-quality practice and service delivery. Your key responsibilities will include managing and contributing to practice learning arrangements for the children's workforce, managing and overseeing practice development, developing and implementing quality assurance frameworks, and providing advice and guidance to other professionals.
The ideal candidate will have a minimum of five years' post-qualification practice in a social work team, with three years in a management position. Substantial knowledge of legislation and statutory responsibilities that underpin Children's Social Care is required.
Key Responsibilities:- Manage and contribute to practice learning arrangements for the children's workforce
- Manage and oversee practice development
- Develop and implement quality assurance frameworks
- Provide advice and guidance to other professionals
