Job Title: Head of Contract Management

We are seeking an experienced professional to lead our contract management and transformation efforts in NW London. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing complex projects and programmes, working closely with stakeholders to achieve desired outcomes.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead identified complex and strategic projects and programmes across NW London, including public engagement and consultations.
  • Establish clear programme plans, articulating outcomes, benefits, timescales, and resources required.
  • Articulate transformation staffing requirements and work with leadership to identify suitable personnel.
  • Manage projects and programmes to deliver agreed outcomes and timescales.
  • Ensure robust management structures and processes, including delivery plans, risk management, governance, reporting, change management, and dependency management.
  • Support local areas and providers in implementing models of care, adhering to NW London principles.
  • Establish effective links with enabling work streams, including Business Intelligence, workforce, and communications.
  • Ensure programme delivery meets constitutional standards.
  • Develop strong communication skills and relationships management to facilitate complex work programme delivery with internal and external partners.
  • Have a good working knowledge of NHS Standard Contract.
  • Work strategically with the wider contracting team to ensure NW London priorities are embedded in contracts.
  • Provide knowledge support to local leads and partners, enabling best practice, ideas, and issues to be shared across the system.
  • Budget holder for a defined budget, responsible for contract management and performance oversight.
  • Lead local primary care relationships, developing improved access and local enhanced services.
Person Specification:
  • Experience in delivering complex transformational projects, working with diverse stakeholders to achieve desired outcomes.
Financial and Physical Resources:
  • Previous budget responsibility, involved in budget setting, and working knowledge of financial processes.
  • Evidence of continuous professional development.
Planning Skills:
  • Plans and organises complex activities, formulating and adjusting plans to reflect changing circumstances.
