Job Summary:

Adecco is seeking a dedicated and skilled Career Grade Planner to join their Housing, Planning, and Communities team. This temporary position offers a valuable opportunity to contribute to the delivery of transformational projects and make a positive impact within the community.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Work effectively as part of the Housing, Planning, and Communities team, actively contributing to the achievement of corporate objectives.
  • Collaborate with multi-disciplinary project teams to break down departmental barriers and ensure the successful delivery of projects.
  • Assist the Assistant Director of Planning and Development in integrating services at the point of delivery and at the strategic planning level.
  • Promote a philosophy that prioritises the needs of service users, implementing effective management arrangements to support this approach.
  • Engage with key stakeholders to improve service quality and explore innovative solutions to local challenges while ensuring services are accessible to all members of the community.
  • Oppose and work towards eradicating all forms of discrimination, actively contributing to managing diversity as both an employer and service provider.
  • Contribute to a culture of continuous improvement to enhance performance across the organisation.
  • Maintain a positive image of Adecco and represent the company as required.
  • Provide professional advice on relevant areas of service delivery to stakeholders, ensuring compliance with organisational policies.
  • Take active steps to contribute to the achievement of all Adecco's priorities.
  • Participate in emergency planning activities and respond to emergency situations in alignment with Adecco's protocols.
  • Assist in the conduct of elections when necessary.

Requirements:

  • Experience in dealing with housing planning applications.
  • Good organisational skills.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Planning or planning-related degree.
