About the Role

We are seeking an experienced and enthusiastic Physiotherapist to join our multidisciplinary team in Hounslow and Richmond Community Healthcare NHS Trust. As a Physiotherapist - Community Rehabilitation, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality care to patients in the community.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide therapeutic interventions based on a problem-solving and advanced clinical reasoning approach.
  • Work within and understand national and trust policies, including data protection, equal opportunities, health and safety, and lone working.
  • Remain updated with professional practice, evidence-based practice, and new research.
  • Communicate clearly and concisely via written and spoken word.
  • Have good theoretical and practical knowledge of adult and elderly care treatments and modalities.
  • Cope with stressful situations and with emotional or aggressive patients/carers.
Requirements
  • Hold a Bachelor/Diploma in Physiotherapy or equivalent.
  • Be HCPC registered.
  • Have evidence of personal and professional development.
  • Have postgraduate experience of 2 years minimum covering core skills in rehabilitation and management of complex conditions.
  • Have broad experience of orthopedics, medical, falls, cardio-respiratory, and elderly care.
  • Have specific experience in the specialty designated to the post - community.
  • Have experience of working as part of a multi-disciplinary team.
  • Have well-established knowledge of assessment tools and treatment techniques relevant to the client group.
