Catastrophe Modeling Specialist

We are looking for a Catastrophe Modeling Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our Consulting and Client Services Group, you will work closely with clients to enhance their usage of our solutions and provide expert guidance on catastrophe risk management strategies.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement complex risk models using our cutting-edge technology for insurers, brokers, and other financial intermediaries.
- Collaborate with clients to identify and prioritize risk mitigation opportunities.
- Analyze and interpret large datasets to inform decision-making and optimize risk management strategies.
- Communicate complex technical information to non-technical stakeholders and ensure effective project delivery.
Requirements
- Master's degree in a quantitative field such as mathematics, statistics, or computer science.
- Advanced analytical and problem-solving skills with experience in risk analysis and modeling.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with ability to work effectively with clients and internal stakeholders.
- Experience with programming languages such as Python, R, and SQL.
- Prior experience in the insurance or reinsurance industry is preferred.
Salary Range
- Average salary: $90,000 - $120,000 per year.
- Ongoing education and training to maintain industry certifications.
