Job Title: Facilities Manager

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Facilities Manager to join our team at Broomfield South SILC. As a key member of our school community, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our facilities and maintaining a safe and healthy environment for our students and staff.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage and maintain the school's facilities, including buildings, grounds, and equipment
  • Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations and policies
  • Develop and implement maintenance schedules and budgets
  • Coordinate repairs and maintenance work with external contractors
  • Provide excellent customer service to staff, students, and visitors
  • Collaborate with the Business Manager and SLT to achieve school goals and objectives
Requirements:
  • Proven experience in facilities management, preferably in an educational setting
  • Strong knowledge of health and safety regulations and policies
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Highly organized and able to prioritize tasks effectively
