Job Summary:
We are seeking an experienced and skilled Assistant Facilities Manager to join our team at Mitie. As a key member of our facilities management team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our facilities, providing excellent customer service, and maintaining a safe and healthy work environment.
Key Responsibilities:- Manage and coordinate the day-to-day activities of the facilities team, ensuring that all tasks are completed to a high standard and within agreed deadlines.
- Develop and implement effective maintenance and repair programs to ensure that all facilities are well-maintained and meet health and safety standards.
- Provide excellent customer service to internal and external customers, responding to queries and resolving issues in a timely and professional manner.
- Collaborate with other departments to ensure that facilities management activities are aligned with business objectives and goals.
- Conduct regular site visits to monitor facilities and identify areas for improvement.
- Develop and implement energy-saving initiatives to reduce energy consumption and costs.
- Manage and maintain accurate records of facilities management activities, including maintenance schedules, inventory, and incident reports.
- Proven experience in facilities management, preferably in a similar role or industry.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with internal and external stakeholders.
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to identify and resolve issues in a timely and professional manner.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a flexible and adaptable approach to work.
- Knowledge of health and safety regulations and procedures, with the ability to maintain a safe and healthy work environment.
