Facilities Manager

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Facilities Manager to join our team at Northern School of Contemporary Dance. As a key member of our facilities team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our buildings and grounds, providing a safe and welcoming environment for our students, staff, and visitors.
Key Responsibilities- Manage and maintain the school's buildings and grounds to the highest standards, ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations and best practices.
- Coordinate and supervise the work of the facilities team, ensuring that all tasks are completed efficiently and effectively.
- Develop and implement maintenance schedules and plans to prevent equipment failure and minimize downtime.
- Collaborate with other departments to ensure that facilities needs are met, and that the school's operations run smoothly.
- Manage budgets and resources to ensure that facilities operations are cost-effective and efficient.
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- Proven experience in facilities management, preferably in an educational or cultural institution.
- Strong knowledge of health and safety regulations and best practices.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with staff, students, and external partners.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a flexible and adaptable approach to work.
- Highly organized and able to prioritize tasks effectively, with a strong attention to detail.
