About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Biomedical Scientist to join our team as a Quality Lead in Histopathology. As a key member of our laboratory team, you will be responsible for ensuring the highest standards of quality and safety in our diagnostic services.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead the development and implementation of quality management systems to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
  • Collaborate with laboratory staff to identify and resolve technical issues and improve laboratory processes.
  • Develop and deliver training programs to enhance the skills and knowledge of laboratory staff.
  • Conduct quality audits and assessments to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
  • Provide technical expertise and support to laboratory staff in the areas of immunohistochemistry and histopathology.
Requirements
  • Master's degree in Biomedical Science or a related field.
  • HCPC registration with at least 5 years of post-registration experience in a UKAS accredited clinical histopathology laboratory.
  • Experience in quality management systems and immunohistochemistry.
  • Strong leadership and communication skills.
