Job Title: Biomedical Scientist/Biomedical Scientist Specialist

Harrogate and District NHS Foundation Trust is seeking a highly skilled Biomedical Scientist to join our team in the Histopathology department.

Main Responsibilities:
  • Take direct responsibility for all results produced and work performed, including quality control and assurance.
  • Participate in all clinical laboratory tasks to support the specialized diagnostic service for patients in the Histopathology department.
  • Perform routine diagnostic testing procedures on histology and non-gynae cytology samples.

Requirements:
  • IBMS accredited BSc degree or equivalent.
  • IBMS Registration Portfolio.
  • Experience of working in a clinical histopathology NHS Laboratory for a minimum of 3 months.
