Senior AI/ML Engineer

Roke is seeking a highly skilled Senior AI/ML Engineer to join our team. As a key member of our engineering team, you will be responsible for delivering novel solutions to our customers' challenging problems, leading teams of engineers in delivering a mixture of small, early-stage research projects and algorithmic components of larger, multi-disciplinary development programmes.
Key Responsibilities:- Proven experience in AI/ML R&D, including computer vision, reinforcement learning, and NLP.
- Significant experience conceiving novel applications of AI/ML techniques, particularly adapting and applying academic research.
- Strong understanding of software engineering, including experience of working in and leading agile teams and delivering complexity at pace.
- Leading engineering teams on AI/ML related R&D projects, providing technical guidance and mentoring to junior engineers.
- Supporting business winning efforts by contributing to early-stage client interactions and leading technical bidding activities.
