Senior AI/ML Engineer

As a Senior AI/ML Engineer at Roke, you will be responsible for delivering novel solutions to our customers' challenging problems, leading teams of engineers in delivering a mixture of small, early-stage research projects and algorithmic components of larger, multi-disciplinary development programmes.

The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of software engineering, experience of working in, and leading, agile teams, and delivering complexity at pace. You will also have a proven track record of conceiving novel applications of AI/ML techniques, particularly adapting and applying academic research.

We are looking for a highly skilled and experienced AI/ML Engineer to join our team. As a Senior AI/ML Engineer, you will be responsible for providing technical guidance and mentoring to junior engineers, supporting business winning efforts by contributing to early-stage client interactions and leading technical bidding activities.

Key Requirements:

  • Proven experience in AI/ML R&D, computer vision, reinforcement learning, or NLP
  • Significant experience conceiving novel applications of AI/ML techniques
  • Strong understanding of software engineering and experience of working in, and leading, agile teams
